Our Mission
At CIRS Research Foundation, our mission is to improve health outcomes globally through innovative research, education, and outreach.
Research Areas
Our research areas include the biological mechanisms, diagnostic biomarkers, and clinical management of Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) and related environmentally acquired illnesses. We focus on the interaction between genetic susceptibility and environmental exposures—such as water-damaged buildings, infections, and biotoxins—to better understand how these factors contribute to chronic systemic inflammation.
Education Programs
We offer education programs that provide the public with opportunities to learn about Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome and develop knowledges to address these challenges. Our programs include internet summits, a newsletter and a CIRS Community based medical journal.
Collaboration
We collaborate with partners from diverse sectors and regions to promote knowledge sharing and build capacity for global health research and practice. Our partnerships enable us to conduct impactful research and implement effective interventions.
